Virtual Birthday Run Donations:

All purchases of a VBR medal result in a donation to the Melanoma Research Foundation.  The cost of the medal, and shipping are deducted from the amount paid, and the balance is put onto a website where you can track our progress.
 
Starting in 2017 I had to move the donations to a Crowdrise site. The FirstGiving site I originally started with stopped partnering with MRF.  I raised $2700.00 through FirstGiving. And now the Crowdrise page to make a direct donation is closed. My original site, on FirstGiving, stopped partnering with MRF.  I had to find a new home for donations, so I made a Crowdrise page to donate to continue to donate to MRF.  That page is also closed at this time. This is to purchase a Virtual Birthday Run medal. If you prefer that all funds go directly to melanoma research and you don't want a physical medal, please add that as a note.  Or if you want the medal and to add more money for research you may pay $18 plus the desired amount to go to the Melanoma Research Foundation. I will take all donations received and send them to MRF.
